Therapeutic Deep Tissue
This session addresses relief of tension and enhancing the flow of your energy. Deep breathing helps to encourage tissue release, while allowing your body to relax. Pressure depth is subjective, so gentle checking-in and your communication is key to obtaining optimal results. Active isolated stretching, joint movement, pressure point, and slow firm pressure to loosen the fascia (the “glue” that holds your tissue together) are some of the techniques utilized in this session. Education and support of things you can do on your own to support your goals will be included in the session.
The benefits include:
Aids in rehabilitation and recovery
Loosening of scar tissue
Aids in the conditions: carpal tunnel, sciatica, frozen shoulder, bulging discs, chronic tension, & more

Developed in India and making its way to Thailand there are different versions practiced depending on what region it was from. What to Expect
Before your appointment session:
Before and after your session, space is held to communicate what’s happening in your life and discuss ideas, plans and light conversation. All of this develops and builds the therapeutic relationship and helps me develop a massage/wellness plan according to your present situation.
It would be beneficial to you to not eat a big meal or drink caffeine.
It would additionally benefit you to stay hydrated before and after your session.
Allow for a space (approximately 10 feet x 12 feet) that will accommodate a massage table and room to move around it.
Please indicate if you would prefer to use your own linens, oil/lotion, or music during the session. Otherwise, these all are provided.
Please refrain from wearing any perfumes or scented lotions.
During your session:
The intent during your session is not a social one. You are encouraged to actively participate in your session by being aware of your body while I am working with you.
It is important to me that you have a safe, positive, and healing experience. To do this, I will “check in” with you throughout the session, by asking you how you’re doing. Remember the session is about YOU, please don’t hesitate to communicate any preferred adjustments.
After your session:
You are encouraged to allow for additional time after your session to fully integrate the experience.
After your session, it’s not uncommon to experience decontamination. This may include; feeling muscle soreness, needing more rest, or needing to use the bathroom more frequently, to name a few.
You may experience energetic changes such as; feeling pressures in or around your body, energetic “sparklies” (the electrical movement of energy), ah-ha moments of realization, vivid dreams afterwards, and feeling to be quiet and rest, to name a few.
